For firefox, you can install one of two extensiones called "locale
switcher'[1] or "Quick Locale Switcher "[2], then install language.xpi
file from mozilla.org ftp server[3]. Firefox currently doesn't recognize
your locale under linux, however with above extension, it's really a
click'n'go work. If you prefer to compile a local firefox binary you
have to grab language source from mozilaa server firstly, which makes a
lot of abundant work and may conflict with current firefox package..
