In my case, I have an Athlon XP-M and the cpufreq modules don't work
with a SMP system, so I have to recompile the kernel, the ndiswrapper
modules and my webcam module every time a new kernel gets out. It
would be great if we could have a non-SMP kernel, although I know it
would mean extra work and having duplicate packages for the SMP and
non-SMP kernels.

Anyway, I will still be using arch even if nothing happens.
