You can use a program called alien (not sure if its in arch, should be, very useful) that lets you convert between package types.

Whats nice is to use alien to convert a .deb to a slackware tarball, and then make either a PKGBUILD for it or just extract it

Is there any chance how I could get that working in Arch? On the project websites there are also Debian packages. Is it possible to install them somehow in Arch? Or are there tgz sources somewhere? Haven't found anything yet.

Thanks a lot
