Hi,

i recognize some problems with akregator and therefore i take a look for the
first time into the PKGBUILD of kdepim. But the last of my questions about
the configure line seems to be guilty for the all KDE PKGBUILD's.

Important: This are only questions to understand some things better than now
and so it is no criticism.

--enable-indexlib
I use the Cyrus Imap on my Server and run daily squatter to build the Index.
Is it okay for me to have this option enabled or should it better to compile
it without it?

--enable-gcc-hidden-visibility
There is no explanation about it in the help. Is this an old or an hidden
feature?

--enable-final
The help says that it is experimental and the only advantage is the size of
the apps. Because less size is not better for me than using an experimental
feature i never used it in my PKGBUILD's. Now I read
http://developer.kde.org/documentation/other/developer-faq.html but this
confused me more because it speaks about speeding up the compilation and
nothing about the size of the apps. Can someone give me a hint what is the
real advantage of using this feature: Size of the apps and/or compiling time?
And if speeding up the compilation is the only advantage why do not using a
"make -j 3 || return 1" at example.

See you, Attila
