interestingly, there is a newer version, xBMP, but its only in AUR or something

Last night, I fired up XMMS for the first time in awhile, and there were no
menus. I mean the menu boxes were there, but there was no words. I don't
think this is a configuration problem, as it affects all users, and it worked
fine until sometime last week. Anybody have any thoughts as to what might be
