Hi! I have a question: I think qpkg -f only looks for files you have currently installed in your computer, is that true?
I am looking for a tool like apt-file [debian] or maybe a pacman option I could use on Arch. I think one pacman lack is that it can't discover to which package a file belongs if the package is not installed. It will be nice an option like: pacman -So glxgears On 3/4/06, kozaki.dev <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Mon, 27 Feb 2006 17:13:59 +0100, Rafael Sorto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > Same here its really good to find out after almost a year using arch that > > typing / before the command on the search can give u that result :D :D > > > > Well there's also qpkg that does this job fine : > > $ qpkg -f glxgears > Searching for package that contains "glxgears"... > > /usr/bin/glxgears is owned by mesa-apps 6.4.2-1 > > > > On 2/26/06, Rohan Dhruva <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> > >> Even i did not know about this / thing.
