I'm confused.  So they have rewritten it, and it's only available
through subversion, but the snapshots I downloaded from
http://nion.modprobe.de/mutt-ng/snapshots/ have the same revision number
as the latest revision in the subversion on berlios.

I guess I'm confused on where the rewritten code is.  It seems to me
that the snapshots are up to date with the svn on berlios, but is that
the rewrite then, or the old code?
