rdesktop only allows several logons if the computer in question is a
server class.... otherwise it's a single session. Granted rdesktop is
much better than vnc for slow links... and a *little* more secure.

However, addressing the original question: if you are just concerned
with shutting down or restarting windows computers... you should take a
look at the 'net' command that accompanies samba.

Something like:

net rpc shutdown -U <user> --ipaddress=<computer name/ip> (-r if reboot)

should do you just nicely.
