Alright, solved. And I have no clue why. I was reading various forms,
including arch's, and came across adding my username to the audio group. I
checked the group file, and saw I was already in the group, of course I was,
until yesterday I had 100 days of music. But on a lark I readded myself. I
now have sound.

Anyone got a clue? I leave the room for 5 minutes and can't play sound until
I readd myself to the audio group? How weird is that. Anyway, thanks for
listening and for the help I got.
