I have been having my optical mouse freeze up on me with this message spat out by dmesg :
psmouse.c: bad data from KBC - bad parity
psmouse.c: Wheel Mouse at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost synchronization, throwing 2 bytes away.
Doing a uname -a reveals :
Linux homebox 2.6.16-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 10 07:33:11 CEST 2006 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
My mouse : A4 Tech Model OP-620 which is just a normal wheel optical mouse.
Searching on the internet seems to indicate that this is a kernel problem ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
