Hello Community, What is the status of internationalization of Arch? Currently there are still no i18n-packages for popular applications like firefox.
I am not sure how to handle this in future. Should the packages contain all available language-files, should there be a big language-pack or should there be a package for every single language? However: there should be language-packaages for every application in [current] and [extra]. For example I have created a language-pack for psi: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=4541 (all-in-one) and a German language-Pack for Firefox: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=4593 Are there any plans to solve this? Imho there should not be language-packs in AUR for packages in official repositories.
