You can use ABS to build/re-build/tweak *ANY* Arch package. See: http://www.archlinux.org/docs/en/guide/install/arch-install-guide.html#abs for details.
To find where all the open office packages are in the ABS tree, do this: find /var/abs -name "openoffice*" You can then go and rebuild any of them.
