I'm not intending to replace the original Arch logo. But I'll tell my opinion, and I really don't like it. So, as I know a little of gimp I started thinking about another logo, just as a try, a personal thing.
Then, I got some good responses from other users, they really liked the logo (I prefer calling it a fanart :) ). So, I decided to send to the offcial MailingList, just to see what other users think about the original logo and ask their opinion about my fanart. Lemme emphasize, I'm not asking to judge it, or to compare mine wih the original. That is not the point. I did it as a personal opinion, and it's not my objective replace the current logo.
