They are i586 so Arch won't install, you can test this by trying to boot the 
install disk. It most likely won't get past loading the kernel.

A couple of weeks back I recompiled all the packages and installed them by 
booting from an i386 install disk (I think it was debian from memory). It 
worked, although I decided against using it.
