Just uncomment or change it in local.conf. For example:

<match target="pattern">
         <edit name="antialias" mode="assign"><bool>true</bool></edit>
</match>

umm.. actually i'm not sure if that would do it, but the relevant entry
should be an edit or two away in /etc/fonts/local.conf
