Speaking about GCC 4.1, has anyone compared the performance of GCC 4.1 to GCC 4? Is it better? Does it exceed the performance of the 3 series? I tried searching for comparisons and charts but haven't found any. According to [1] they are quite optimistic but don't mention any hard numbers.
