well it's logical, if you dont need IFOPTS, then you dont define them.
Fair enough. Of course there's arguably a world of difference between intuition and logic but I guess we can only play to logic ;-)
However...does leaving IFOPTS undefined also mean we can assume a device is ppp and therefore use ppp shutdown/restart on it? Or do we still need another method for that and would that moot the IFOPTS suggestion?
