So here it goes again: Will the slmodem driver work with lt chipsets? When I was configuring my thinkpads's modem I came across this page, http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Modem_Daughter_Card_(MDC) . Quote: --- The Linux driver from SmartLink may work. Latest version of this driver is 2.9.10 and supports both the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. Otherwise try using the slightly dated ltmodem driver for Linux. The latest version of this driver is 8.31a10 and supports both the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. --- So the slmodem driver works for me, it may be worth giving it a shot. Btw, what's lspci say? Here's mine: 00:1f.6 Modem: Intel Corporation 82801CA/CAM AC'97 Modem Controller (rev 02) I hope this helps, Jesse _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
