Hi again, (please read again the below mail, first)
Sorry to bring this up again, but it seems the latest upgrades (all of them, the system is completely up-to-date) brought the below-described issue back. (Un)fortunately, I didn't remember I had posted on the maillist and searched the forums again, with a deja-vu feeling all over me. Found (again) the same topic describing that I have to export XKEYSYMDB env variable but this time I've added the export line to /etc/rc.d/kdm (which might not be enough, and a more proper way would be to add something to /etc/profile.d) Now, my question is, am I the only one with the XKEYSYMDB issue? Hasn't anyone else experienced this? Lots of thanks, Mircea On Sunday 09 April 2006 13:31, Mircea Bardac wrote: > Hi everybody, > > I've kept playing yesterday with FreeNX (couldnt' have it working properly > with a new KDE session - might be a completely different issue).
