ah, sorry about that!! Seems like there may be a problem with my sync db then. I have done a 'pacman -Sy' already, actually, but still no luck. Is there any way i can fix the sync db? Seems like a sync db problem all right - i just tried a 'pacman -Ss mesa-apps', and I actually get back a result! (compare this to the result at archlinux.org). I just recently (like yesterday) installed from the latest arch64-base.iso.
