Longer explanation (with a bit speculation): B is probably a library of some sort, which is in testing because the update will break some packages (thus A in there, too), so the C package that is built against B in current cannot run if linked against testing's B. There isn't a C package in testing either because either the devs didn't got to rebuild it yet, either because it passed unnoticed, or because this version doesn't build against B in testing and they're looking for a patch or a newer version that fixes that. At any rate, you are encouraged to report that in the bugtracker [ http://bugs.archlinux.org ] and if can't wait, rebuild it yourself until it gets updated.
