Hello together,

at first sorry for my stupid question but i don't understand the difference
between Contributor and Maintainer in the PKGBUILD's and what i have to do if
i should use the bug tracker.

Okay, which of this alternatives is the favorite way for the devs:

1. Sending an email to the Contributer.
2. Sending an email to the Maintainer.
3. Using the Bug Tracker.
3a. If yes, is it the same acount as for the forums?

Now my example of what i want to report so i hope you can understand what i
mean and can me say what is the best because from my view it is not even
necessary to do it in a public area as this group:

I use the gimp-cvs version and for this i create a gimp-cvs-help-2 package
which is copy from the original gimp-help-2 package with the only difference
that i use the version 0.11. The make process terminated with complainig
about missing the file /usr/share/xml/docbook/profiling/profile-mode.xsl.
After taking a look in the docbook-xsl PKGBUILD i see that the
directoy "profile" from the original archive is not in the loop and i make a
copy of it to create my own package with this directory name in the loop.
After installaing my own version of docbook-xsl the make process of
gimp-cvs-help-2 runs through with a lot of other warnings but it works and i
can use the help in my gimp-cvs version.

So have anyone an idea where i should report such things in the future because
i want to reduce work for the devs?

See you, Attila
