It is a good policy since the current AUR require some extra work to be sure things are fine. > Regardless, I don't intend to jeopardize either the success of the AUR > or the success of my marriage, both of which are very important to me. Thank you for the confidence. I will do my best to make it a great release and im sure the guys will help me to set things up :o) > Once I explain to him what is necessary, expect an update here from dsa > on when to expect the release, once he's set a release schedule. Okay, so here it goes: The current AUR in svn has some interesting fixes and some new features: - Security fix from simo - Varios fixes in the order of fields from dsa - User statistics from dsa - Some language fixes commited from swiergot - Some database changes (little things) - New languages So i wil do some tests on svn AUR until friday and then, giving that everything is ok, we will start the process to put the release in the archlinux server, step that will be conducted by Simo. Excuse me if the schedule dont appear to be a professional one with dates and times, this is my first time and i promise to follow it and test things to make it a great release. Just to make it said, i know there are some others fixes to AUR (not critical) that needs to be implemented and there are somethings im already implementing, but i will not include then in this release because there are already a bunch of things in svn and i do not want to take the risc that putting something that may break the entire system. _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
