it's not my pkg - i can have a look at it, when i find some time 
(friday morning maybe)... you have a PKGBUILD you use for jdk 6?

i tried jdk6 at university and didn't run in any problems yet. that's 
why i wonder that there are some problems... but they seem to be 
caused only because of the compiler default changes.... that shows 
that using a clean and easy building script or make/cmake is always a 
good idea (change in one argument needed now with this change for 
me).

i expect that it will go to [testing] anyway, when Jason builds 
Mustang (jdk 6).
