We all have to learn. In a Windows world, especially, it seems that
the mail clients encourage all of the worst habits. :)

Note how I change the subject line, to make it more ontopic.

Assuming you want a graphical emailer, Sylpheed is similar in format to
Outlook Express, and handles Japanese very well. (Actually, they all do
now.)

Thunderbird is another popular one. One nice thing about Arch's pacman
is that you can try and then remove a program easily, whereas in FreeBSD
for example, programs are compiled from source, which can sometimes take
awhile.

The gmail format looks fine to me, I'm using muttng a texted based
client. It's good that you want to learn, that is the first step in
becoming the next guru who answers the other people's questions. :)

Cordelia: I came over here to tell Buffy to stop this
craziness, and
found you all unconscious--again. How many times have you been
knocked out, anyway? I swear, one of these times, you're going
to wake up in a coma.
Giles: Wake up in a...? Oh, never mind. We need to save Buffy from
Hansel and Gretel.
Cordelia: Now, let's be clear. The brain damage happened before I hit
you.
