Okay I was too much in hurry as i wrote it. It is more strange as i have
thought because a "file /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8" shows that it is only
a symbolic link to `current'.

I don't know what happens to your system because i reinstalled both packages
without a problem. Perhaps it is now better that you wait until one of the
experts will say something about it.

I have meant that if you have used abs as described in
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ABS. Sorry for the confusion.
