The removed due to clarity.  The bindings were there, yes, but they
were just direct dumps via swig.  This is usually not a good thing.
Proper bindings should be "in the spirit of the language".

Any and all bindings are welcome, however.  We just didn't want to
force, say, C style usage in a java app.  Bindings are probably best
maintained as a separate project, BUT if you don't have anywhere to
host it, we might be able to set something up (though something like
google code might be a better idea).
