true, xbindkeys_show is useless... i was thinking about replacing it 
by a script (called the same) that would start a xterm with ${EDITOR} 
~/.xbindkeysrc instead.
originally, i decided against it, because it would be messing around 
with the original authors intentions... i even wanted to post this 
upstream as a feature-request... but it was a low priority that then 
got lost :)

you bring it up again... and i want to have tk removed... --disable-tk 
would be nice, without replacements, right? community agrees? if i do 
not hear any negative feedback, i will disable tk in a weeks time (if 
i do not forget ;) in xbindkeys.
