1. you must have any perspective opened
2. Menu: "Help -> Software Updates -> Manage Configuration"
3. "Product Configuration" window is opened
4. Right click "Eclipse SDK" (root tree node)
5. Context menu: "Add -> Extension Location"

You will be asked to select directory "which contains the
.eclipseextension marker file, as well as the features and plugins
folders"
