I think we have support to: i. Accept the mailing list scope, as you specified; ii. Rename the arch@ mailing list. Questions: a. What name to change it to? Is dev@ descriptive enough, or developers@ is better? b. What does it take to change the name? As for b), I can do that research. I reckon it will be something like: 1. Create the new list as identical except for the name; 2. Mass subscribe all current subscribers (I can get the list easily via the Mailman CLI); 3. (Optional) Copy or move all arch@ mail archives to be rebuilt under the developers@ tree (I think this would work); 4. (Re)subscribe the list to Gmane; 5. Modify arch@ pages to say the list is deprecate, lockout new subscribers. 5.1 (Optional) Hide arch@ list from view or remove it entirely (unsure of the negative consequences, aside from broken search URLs.) 6. Announce the change. I reckon I'll find out a few more steps or details than that. - Karsten -- Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Analyst - Community Growth http://TheOpenSourceWay.org .^\ http://community.redhat.com @quaid (identi.ca/twitter/IRC) \v' gpg: AD0E0C41
