Hii

    I was really interested in Handling Complex Geometries idea from the
gsoc ideas page.

    Handling complex geometries can be done by Well Known Text (WKT) format.

   I went through some references to find out more how postgis uses WKT to
handle geometries.

   --->PostGIS extends PostgreSQL to handle spatial database management
capabilities.

   Some of the references i found out which can be used to handle 2d and
even 3d if we have time.

   --->http://workshops.boundlessgeo.com/postgis-intro/geometries.html

          This reference describes in detail how to handle geometries using
PostGIS ... It has further sections which explain it more vividly.

   ---->http://postgis.net/documentation/
           The official PostGIS documentation.Section 6 of PostGIS 2.1
documentation guides us in handling geometries using PostGIS.

   I am understanding those references and what more should i do to
understand the handling complex geometries ideas better?

   Cheers :)
   Utsav
