Just chiming in quickly to say, first, congratulations to the 2014 students (!), and second: real-time coordination via Skype is great, but please make sure that technical information and decisions get reflected back out here to the public forums quickly. If important stuff happens in a Skype conversation, no one else will have any way of knowing it -- unless that stuff is also mentioned back here on the list, or in the wiki, in the issue tracker, etc. I realize I might be anticipating a problem that never arises, but in other projects I have occasionally seen Skype/phone conversations have the unintended effect of sucking a little bit of the visible development energy & responsiveness out of the main forums.
