Hi everyone, I am working for the Theban Mapping project and we are going to adopt Arches version 3 for a database of all archaeological sites and monuments in Egypt. I have an Archaeology degree and have worked with commercial software as a project manager/analyst and also have website design experience. I am working in New Cairo, Egypt on the Campus of the American University in Cairo. This is a very beautiful, new campus in the desert some 20 miles from downtown Cairo. I would like to say that I can see the Great Pyramids from my window but I cannot. However, I can see some beautiful modern Islamic architecture, palm trees and lots of sand!
