Hi Lucy, to customize Arches you probably need a bit of Python, a bit of Javascript and knowledge of HTML and CSS. Maybe some SQL. You probably already have people who are familiar with some of these tools. I think the amount of Python you will need to write is fairly small. Python is actually quite easy to learn for people who have not programmed much and very easy to learn for people who have programmed somewhat. Especially if you have knowledge of another dynamically typed language such as PHP, Ruby or Javascript.
