Dear Arches Team, Our database is up and running in production mode on a MAC OS Server, with 32gb of memory. For some reason, the memory is not clearing correctly after a specific activity on the site, seemingly when searches are undertaken, although it is hard to track down precisely what the issue is, as when i run multiple searches to flush the problem out it seems fine! Maybe it is a specific search? The only other things it might be is that one of the team tried to make some changes via the RDM and ran in to an error and those pages froze for her but it seems unrelated and the RDM seems fine now; the team are also entering in data. I also deactivated the export function, and removed some information from the hover pop-up when using the map view. Prior to this, the database was working like an absolute treat!
When the problem occurs, all 32gb of memory are used because of this glitch and our sites don't load on the map view and I need to restart it. If you have any ideas about what the problem may be I would appreciate your advice. Best wishes, Richard p.s. for those of you looking to put Arches into production mode on a mac server, I will be providing shortly the steps that we went through in a few days - huge thanks to Alexi for helping me with this! -- -- To post, send email to [email protected].
