Hi, I thought it may be useful to start a thread for anyone to suggest any
extra software that they have found to be useful for any work they have
done with Arches. To start, I'll recommend two programs that I've used
extensively to help with customizations that I've made to Arches:

*Notepad ++* is a very basic but hugely versatile text editor. It
recognizes many different programming languages, you can can edit any of
the file types (js, css, html, etc) that you find throughout Arches. I
highly recommend the "Compare" plugin, which allows you to get a quick
visual, line-by-line comparison between two files.

I also use *Sublime*, which is another great text editor. For arches work,
I mostly just use the ctrl+shift+f utility to search through multiple
files. I have local versions of the Arches3 and Arches-HIP repos, so with
sublime it's very fast to quickly search through all of the arches code to
find where a certain function or class exists.

...Ultimately if we can enough information on this thread, it would be be a
nice thing to add to the Arches documentation.

Cheers,
Adam
