Hi Hiba,

If you have not already I would look at the help section in the arches
designer. You can access it by clicking on the '?' in the top right corner
of the of the arches designer (*your_url*/graph). There are also help
sections for many of the pages mentioned below that may be of assistance as
well.

Here are some general next steps once you've created a resource model and
vocabularies. I'm not sure where you are at in this process so I'll try to
outline more steps and you can jump in where it's relevant for you.

Starting with a resource model and vocabularies.

1.) Create collections in your RDM from your vocabularies if you have not
already. These collections will be composed of concepts from your thesauri
and will be linked to your concept nodes to provide the data for dropdown
entries. To link your concept collections to your graph you can either
return to graph designer or configure the concept dropdown in the card
manager.

2.) Create cards and menus. Cards allow you to input data for the nodes in
your graph. Menus organize your cards together for easier data entry.

3.) Create reports. Create a report for your resource model. Reports allow
you to view information that you input with your cards/menus.

In the UI you can access the Card, Menu and Report managers by clicking the
'Manage . . .' button to the right of your graph and selecting what you
would like to do. Remember to Activate your report.

4.) Ensure that you're logged in as a user with permission to enter and
view data.

5.) Click 'Add New Resource' on the lefthand side of Arches. And select
your resource model name. This will take you to your data entry menus where
you can enter data.

6.) Click through the cards and enter your data. When you're finished click
save. Your resource instance should now be saved and visible in search.

7.) Go the search page and click on your resource instance to view its
report.

These steps are generally outlined in the following blog post as well:

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Ryan
