Newbie question! I have hit a brick wall installing Arches 4.0 on Ubuntu 16.04. After running the Ubuntu dependencies script available on Github and following the online documentation from the Arches site, I am stuck creating the database for the sample 'my_project'.
Running 'python manage.py packages -o setup_db' prompts for 'Password for user postgres:'. I have changed both the Unix and PSQL passwords for user 'postgres' to a known phrase, but after authenticating, the script fails with, 'FATAL: password authentication failed for user "postgres"'. I am not experienced with Postgres, so hoping this is a simple one someone can point me in the right direction with. Thanks! Duncan -- -- To post, send email to [email protected].
