Afternoon, The install script installs nodejs-legacy, which I understand has been problematic for some. I tried modifying the script and removed the -legacy bit but it still installed version 4.2.6.
I have worked out how to download and install a newer version of nodejs by downloading and unpacking a tar file but before I go ahead is there any reason not to go for the latest version 8.12.0 or should I go for an older one? Angela Labrador mentioned moving on to 6.2.0 in August. At that point nodejs was at version 8.11 whereas v6.2 was a 2016 version. Ta, Pat -- -- To post, send email to [email protected].
