I will be updating everything I test with the Windows VM to try this out
now and hopefully removing my drive mounting steps.   I'll let you know how
it goes.

Just to confirm, is the default working directory for the QI plugin still
c:/vagrant, or is that now updated?  If it's configurable, that would also
help.
