Hi All,

Currently the Automation framework provides several embedded servers to
provide backing support for urging automated testing scenarios.

1. Embedded Tomcat for Jax-RS support.
2. Embedded FTP server (Apache FTP).
3. Embedded ActiveMQ severs.

The coming request is embedding a proxy server for testing proxy fronted
scenarios. Basically proxy servers we have evaluated like Squid are not
controllable as we suppose to do with Tomcat and Apache FTP. And another
concern is most of available implementations are not compatible with apache
licensing.

My primary suggestion is to implement simple Java bases HTTP tunneling
proxy to support this scenario.

I would like some inputs on what are the areas we should cover other than
HTTP tunneling based on the implementation scenarios of each product.

Thank You,
Dharshana.
