Hi All,
We had a meeting with SS team (Shan, Chan, Dilan, Deep, Shani) regarding
the storage. Apparently what we need is not a Cassandra storage but a
simple HDFS storage.
The requirement is a very simple one. A file need to be persisted to a
storage and a url will be provided to access the file. This will make our
file storage strategy scalable.

Below are the notes regarding the meeting -
- We will be using the HDFS component of Storage server to store the
files.
- Currently the upload function of the component is implemented.
- The download function is still under development.
*Tenancy aspects*
Tenancy is still not implemented in the SS to HDFS. This will require our
Store front apis to handle the tenancy aspects as well -
Example :- C:\shan\tenant1\app.apk - tenant1\app.apk
C:\shan\tenant2\app.apk - tenant2\app.apk
We would like to know when will the tenancy be added and what is the
delivery date for whole component.
