So it seems correct when HostName is not specified in the carbon.xml;
carbon server to bound to "every" network interface rather than "any"
network interface.

But for some services they are not using the globally bound host but rather
binding to various interfaces.

Seen this in sevaral products that the user need to specify HostNames in
several configuration files. Even if they are documented, that sounds not
like a good approach in configuring stuff.
