This is the initial meeting on the $Subject.

As per the current plan we are shipping a Repository API and a
implementation with C5 Kernel. This API will contain only the bare minimal
functionalities required for Repository API.

Previous versions of Carbon kernel contains lots of registry related
functionalities which shouldn't have been in the kernel. Registry is not
the only component, but there are more such components. We've faced many
bugs in these components and we had to the patch kernel or do patch release
due these bugs. Therefore as part of C5, we will refactoring these
components and move unnecessary parts to the platform space.

Here are some of the points that were discussed during this meeting.

   - Consider JAAS as the auth API.
   - Proper exception handling Strategy
   - Move to Git ASAP.
   - No QA for C5 :)
   - Extension and plug points in Registry - We need to decide what
extension of a Repository need to be supported from the kernel. Basically
this applies to the whole kernel project. We need to take concise decision
on the supported extension points. Too many extension points is also not a
   good idea.

Thanks,
Sameera.
