Asset related images need to be stored in registry >> >> Thumbnails were stored in the database right ? why are we changing this ? > As we got to know during the meeting,this is a separate database..So from APIM product point of view [without BAM integration],we have to manage two additional storages as 1 database for images and 1 cassandra inbuilt storage for social features,addition to the two databases currently we are having as one for store APIM runtime data and one for registry+user-mgt data. This is actually a suggestion came from our team as can't we plug,our way of storing images in registry db as an asset association.[As per Sameera,this is currently possible],without adding a new database..
