Hi Isabelle, This is something that should be part of Governance 2.0. I was not aware that Governance 2.0 was in route before C5 time frame and sorry for the confusion.
Also this requirement is not about adding more states to the lifecycle. I haven't done a full analysis of the real world scenarios but it seems to me that we need to add validations(and may be transitions UIs and Executors) depending on the model we go with. One such example is that, if our lifecycle model has a check item called "Architecture document attached", then we should have a validation step to verify that. Therefore to fulfill this requirement we might need to introduce new asset types and lifecycle extensions.
