Hazelcast solution let you have large windows, but it is much much slower than the single node. So it is not good choice for scaling.
We are currently work on Siddhi and Storm integration (Due in Q3 this year), where you can annotate queries with how to distribute it and we will multiple Siddhi nodes connected via Storm. Please see the thread "WSO2 CEP/Siddhi Storm Integration". What we are doing is building a processing pipeline so that any independent calculations (e.g. partitions) are done parallelly using multiple nodes.
