Hi all, Visual schema builder tool currently uses following terminology in defining the tree structure.
- Record - Records list - Field These are basically coming from the Avro specification and we are planning to replace them by a common standard that is understood by most users. The most straight forward approach is to replace these by *Type*, *List*, and *Element* respectively. I have also found that XSD specification for above three are *Complex* *type*, *Sequence* and *Simple* *type/Element*respectively. Since we are more concerned on user experience here, I feel that first option is more suitable and understandable. Any ideas on this?
