WSO2 App Factory team is pleased to announce the general availability (GA)
of WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0.

WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0 is a multi-tenant, elastic and self-service
Enterprise DevOps platform that enables multiple project teams to
collaboratively create, run and manage enterprise applications. Combining
complete application lifecycle management and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
capabilities, WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0 streamlines the development process,
and provides greater insight into the application life cycle while making
it possible to develop, test, deploy and retire applications in few clicks.
It also provides an easy way to discover and consume apps and APIs through
a user-friendly storefront.

   Private Paas Integration

WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0 runs on WSO2 Private PaaS 4.0.0 which is the
complete, multi tenant, self-service, metered, middleware cloud built on
top of the Apache Stratos PaaS 4.0 framework. WSO2 Private PaaS 4.0.0
delivers standard, on-premise, application, integration, data, identity,
governance, and analytic Platform as a Service.

   Multi Tenancy Support

WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0 offer Multi-tenancy, which let multiple
organizations to maximise resource sharing to ensure optimal performance.
This has been achieved mainly with multi tenanted Repository provider
(Git), Build System (Jenkins) and Issue Tracker.


   -

   Application Creation Using an Uploadable Artifact

Offers the ability to create applications by directly uploading a WAR or
ZIP file (Currently supports Web Apps, JAX-RS, JAX-WS as WAR files and
Jaggery as ZIP archives).

   Private Space for Developers

With WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0, developers can easily create and administer
projects, automatically build applications, and continuously deliver
applications.

While the application has a main repository and the build space, individual
developers have the privilege to fork the main repository.

Along with each forked repository a personal build space will be created.
This benefits the developer to carry out their tasks and merge them back to
the main repo once he is fully satisfied with the implementation.

   Notification Wall

This handy feature is the most effective way to communicate important
events and notifications between developers increases coordination and
productivity.

These are categorized based on 3 severity types:

   Errors such as application build failure due to compilation errors, user
   provisioning errors
   -

   Actions such as add foo user to bar application as devOps, create a new
   branch, fix a build break
   -

   Information such as new branch is created, build successful, triggered
   an event to deploy.

There are 3 notifying mechanisms:

   Executive Dashboards

WSO2 App Factory 2.0.0’s executive and CIO dashboards provide the bird’s
