Hi all, We have decided to go ahead with the automating customer CSR signing process.
*What is CSR signing?* When an EMM customer wants to add an iOS device, they need a certificate which is signed by an authorized vendor to do MDM functions on iOS devices. WSO2 is a MDM vendor, so we sign our customer's CSR certificates. Since this is a repetitive task, we decided to, automate it. *How this is handled presently?* Currently what happens is, customers send CSR certificates and someone from the EMM team creates these files and send back. *How will it be automated?* According to the proposed system, we create an internal web page, and when the customer sends a CSR, we can submit the CSR to the web page and it performs the certificate signing and gives the plist file back. please see[1] for more details. We decided[2] to use, Application server and host it internally, and give access to some people at WSO2, probably, sales team, so that they can quickly upload, the CSR, get the plist file and send it back to customer.
